7.16.2012///PORTLAND EXPO, GREEK PASTA, THE LOFT THAT STOPPED TIME AND ONE FULL APARTMENT

///Friday I drove myself down to Portland for the annual summer antique expo. I was not so concerned this year with being a hawk and going down on the first day and stressing myself out to maybe get a better selection. This year was about looking for a few key pieces for some current projects, catching up with some friends, seeing some friends off as they begin a new adventure and of course...the food. With a soundtrack of earlier Death Cab for Cutie, Young Statues and Robyn I made the trek...

///First find...I was off to a good start. And from there I guess I had my business hat on and didn't stop to take any pictures of the expo, but know that we had a good time.

///Dinner the first night with a great friend at Portland's Luce was just what I needed after a long drive.

///Inspiration as I've said comes in many forms and when introduced to the owner of this stunning building in downtown Portland...I. Was. Inspired. A full three floor renovation from picture frame shop to multi-use work/home. I cannot wait to see how this progresses.

///Woke up bright and early as I often do when heading back to Seattle. I love I-5 at 6 am...so quiet and full of subtle color. With my car full and my brain full of ideas I made the dash home.

///With two big installs this week I am looking very much forward to a less cluttered office and home...and even more for the results of months and months of work to come together for them. I am very excited to share with you the final looks as I prepare to take a month off in 11 short days. I think I am finally accepting that I do indeed need this rest and can't wait to recharge my batteries in some pretty amazing places with even more amazing people.

Here is to a healthy and productive week.
