That's right, I am moving once again from this lovely petit pad to one much larger with more space to work and live. Excited am I to have a new space to call home, dreaded am I at the prospect of actually doing the moving. Here is where YOU come in and help lighten the load. Many of the items below have traveled with me a great distance and have been near and dear to me, but I must pass them on to make room for the newness in my life. BP///RHOADS PROJECT

...You may remember a little article in the much loved Rue Magazine about me and my petit home last month that was shot by the lovely and talented Sarah and Chris Rhoads of We Are The Rhoads, well I must have really charmed them, cause I am currently re-doing their Seattle home. Starting with the Entry, Living and Dining areas, we are making some serious head way and I happy to share some of it with you...

///If you were a bird.

///View towards the fireplace. DRAMA.

///During the painting. Soon the fireplace will be high gloss black as well.

///A chesterfield in Dark Grey heavy linen custom designed by myself to be a little deeper than normal for loungey nights.

///A pair of BP INTERIORS pillows. Half drab wool and half antique rubberized army laundry bags...I know, I'm kind of twisted, but once the goods are washed and filled with 100% down they become pure luxury.

///A white console for behind the sofa.

///The console will be the new home of these fantastic Paul Evans lamps that I found on a trip to another clients home in San Diego. Rewired and topped with black paper drum shades.

///Under foot is a too step process. To anchor the room we will use this large sisal rug.

///On top to add some texture and pattern we"ll throw one of these bad boys down.

///The coffee table from my collaborative collection with Blackbird is perfect for this space.

///Drapes for both the living room and dining room in white linen with the bottom third being fashioned out of the same antique rubberized laundry bags as the pillows.

/// The entry nook.

///Making the entry console out of this ammunition case...

///...with the help of these legs, then painting the entire piece a bright white to make it pop.

///Entry mirror. Speaks for itself.

///Custom "soft" wiring one of these Jielde inspired lamps to be mounted on the wall.

///A look into the dining room which also got some of the dark love to help the custom bookcase pop.

More to come from this exciting project that pulls at my very heart strings with every piece.

2.21.2012

///Spending many a day recently like this. good coffee and floor plans.

///NYC just the way I like it. Speaking of NYC, I will be there next week for a few days, then to Newport for a few days to see the family and re-charge.

///The San Diego project is calling for some of this in a few areas in the main floor living area and kitchen. Channeling Dorothy Draper.

///All things green...especially If I can eat them. :)

///My new to me mushroom lamp. A long search now successfully complete.

///Reflections can be a wondrous thing. Taken just outside of San Francisco a week or so back.

///Bar Jules. Hands down my favorite place to go in San Francisco. Nuff said.

///Calder at the SFMoma.

///Two tiny ships from high above in Seattle.

///My view quite a bit lately. Wouldn't give it up for the world.

IAN'S PAD/////

/////////////////////////////////

Ian is a great guy! We are starting with his entry and living room of his Seattle home and I am very excited to give him a great place to curl up by the fire after a long day at work. More to come, but here is a general idea. Warm ethnic inspired woods juxtaposed with a large palette of cool grey's and blue's.
